News of the day

- Anti-war libertarian Ron Paul has more campaign cash than war and occupation cheerleader John McCain. Hahahahahaha.

- Matt Yglesias talks about the health care debate ignited by Michael Moore and notes how opponents of health care reform especially fear a debate framed by ethics and moral values.

- Apparently Universal Health Care leads to terrorism. No seriously, that's what they are saying.

- The U.S. military kills 'key al Qaeda leader' twice. Anyone else think he might still be alive anyway???

- As usual, Atrios nails it.

oh, i'm quite sure he's alive if he ever existed in the first place.

i was reading just the other day about a declassified CIA plan that involved blowing a ship in cuba (remember the maine style) and publishing a fake list of casualties to piss americans off and justify a war w/ cuba.

god, our government sucks.

"Apparently Universal Health Care leads to terrorism."

hahaha, I think we should make a list of all the things that people say will lead to, encourage, and/or support terrorism.

lefty: I hadn't even thought that he might not exist at all...good point. Of course there is also a good chance that he exists, but isn't a 'terrorist'...

missroberson: good point, but that is a long list, especially if one watches FoxNews

no I wrote it (the original post), but I hear it has been making all the rounds on right-wing media, so it probably was on FauxNews...
