Hey all. Thanks for stopping by this blog experiment I have going here. My thinking is that if I can just reduce the amount of time I spend reading blogs and instead post something interesting myself, I will actually have time to write something. Of course, it's easier said than done.
For those of you without a proper knowledge of reggae, the name of this blog is inspired by a song written by Bob Marley (first recorded in 1970 and again for the 1974 album Burnin'). The most well-known version is called Small Axe, but there are several more obscure versions that have been recorded, including More Axe. I couldn't find any versions recorded by the Wailers on YouTube, so here is a respectable cover by Ziggy Marley.

i just got back from seeing ziggy in savannah. good show, but short. it was my first time seeing him. have you been to any of his or stephen's or damian's shows?
Awesome man...I noticed the photo on your blog. I haven't seen any of them, I would like to, but I never followed them as much as I porbably should have. I'm stuck in 70s reggae or something...
